MTV Product Manager

Summary :

>>The Product Marketing Manager will lead all product marketing dimensions of Quintic's analog TV product-line, including product definition, competitive analyses, positioning, pricing and margin strategy, product launch and management, channel training and support, and comprehensive design-win strategy. As the key link between engineering and the customer, the PMM is expected to be the customer advocate within Quintic. The PMM must be able to exert soft cross-functional influence and effectively communicate key ideas and concepts to a diverse matrix organization in multiple geographical locations. The PMM will own the product development process from beginning to end, using objective methods of identifying, substantiating, and ranking key customer needs and turning these into a MRD that is used to guide product development while meeting key corporate strategic and financial goals. As a P+L role, the PMM will be responsible for achieving and maintaining revenue and margin goals by optimizing the product feature mix against cost and timing goals. The PMM is expected to be able to get inside the head of the not only the customer but the competition as well and forecast their ability to compete. A strong background in a fabless semiconductor IC company is essential for this role, with at least three successful IC launches into major OEM's in China. Additional expertise in mobile TV is desired, as is expertise in AV systems and embedded SW applications such as wireless transceivers and baseband processors. The minimum educational requirement is a Bachelors Degree in EE or CS with a background in Analog IC design or RF engineering. An MSEE and MBA are preferred. At least seven years of experience are required for this role. The position will require domestic travel within China, with occasional international travel. Fluency in spoken Mandarin and English is required, as well as a strong ability in written English.
