Dr. Xuan received his Master and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in University of California at Berkeley in 2000 and 2003 respectively. As a PhD student, Dr. Xuan worked on the development of the world smallest sub-20nm MOSFET, which becomes the foundation of the semiconductor in the following decades. After graduation, Dr. Xuan joined Marvell Semiconductor as a staff designer. Dr. Xuan has extensive experience in high performance Class-D amplifier, read channel for hard disk drive, 10-Giga bit Ethernet, LDPC decoder and mixed signal processing. Dr. Xuan is Gold Medalist of International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) in 1991.
In 2006, Dr. Xuan co-founded Quintic Holdings in US, and becaom VP of Engineering in 2007. Dr. Xuan has established a complete engineering team in China, including system architecture, algorithm, analog, digital and layout groups. Under his leadership, the team has successfully developed series of products and established solid foundation in the competitive international market.
