Victor
Ren
President and CEO
Victor brings nearly 30 years of experience in high-technology
startups and large semiconductor companies alike to Quintic. His
proven track record in driving startups will help Quintic achieve its
goal to become the finest mixed-signal fabless semiconductor company serving
the portable and mobile electronics industries.
Prior to joining Quintc, Victor was the Executive Vice
President and Chief Operating Officer at Auvitek, a fabless semiconductor
company focused on the DTV market where he successfully led the company
to both a shipping product and successful round of financing. Earlier,
he was the Vice President of Marketing at ESS Technology, where he led
all facets of the company’s marketing, to and including strategic
and tactical marketing, marketing communications, and project management.
Before that, he was the Vice President of product marketing at Cirrus
Logic, and prior to Cirrus, he was the Vice President of Sales and Business
Development at Stream Machines. In addition to Quintic, Victor has
been President and CEO of Onward Electronics as well as numerous marketing
and product management roles at companies such as Ramtek and IKOS
systems throughout his illustrious career.
Victor received his Master of Engineering in Electrical
and Computer Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
and an Honor’s Degree/Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
with a minor in Mathematics at Marquette University. |

Mukund
Marathe
Vice President of Finance and CFO
Mukund brings over 30 years of finance, operations and
management experience from startups to billion dollar companies across
international locations including Japan, China, India, Philippines, Thailand
and Malaysia. His extensive background in tactical and strategic business
management through periods of rapid growth will help Quintic build a solid
foundation for its success. Prior to joining Quintic, Mukund was Chief
Financial Officer at Crossbow Technology, Inc, a leading end-to-end solutions
supplier in wireless sensor networks and inertial sensor systems, where
he successfully led the finance, HR, IT and Operations functions managing
strong financial performance as well as onshore and offshore manufacturing
and business planning activities. Earlier, he was the Chief Financial
Officer at Stream Machine Company, where he successfully managed two rounds
of financing raising over $30M and a strategic sale to Cirrus Logic. Before
that, he was the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at MMC Technology,
A Hyundai Company, and Director of Finance at Cirrus Logic and Read-Rite
Corporation. Mukund received his MBA degree in Information Systems from
Mississippi State University and BS degree in Finance and Accounting from
University of Bombay, India. Mukund is also a Certified Management Accountant
(CMA) from Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India. |

Kou-Hu
Tzou
Vice President of Product Marketing
Kou-Hu brings over 25 years of technical marketing, product
development, and scientific research experience in wireless communication,
multimedia processor, digital video and networking. He is renowned worldwide
for his contributions to the field of digital video.
Prior to joining Quintic, he was Chief Architect of the Multimedia Group
with Shanghai-based Huahong International, where he was responsible for
new product planning and the development of digital multimedia applications.
Earlier, he was VP of Product Marketing at Divio (acquired by ESS Technologies),
responsible for the pioneering development of MPEG-4 codec chip for digital
camera/camcorder application. Kou-Hu has also held the position of VP
of Engineering at ioWave, where his team successfully delivered high-capacity
wireless data terminals based on 2.4 and 5.8 GHz ISM band for data communications.
He spent his early professional career in several world-class research
institutes including GTE labs, Bellcore, and COMSAT labs.
Kou-Hu received his Doctor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
from Washington University in St. Louis. He has been awarded 10 US patents.
He is an IEEE Fellow and an SPIE Fellow. |

Mark
Cao
Vice President of Operations
Mark Cao graduated from the EECS department
of University of California at Berkeley with a Ph.D. degree in 2002. He
worked at Philips Semiconductor in 2003 on Wireless LAN RF IC design. From
Nov. 2003 to July 2005, he joined the founding engineering team of Uniband
Electronics Corp., Taiwan (acquired by MediaTek) in Milpitas, CA. At UBEC,
he worked on IEEE 802.11g, IEEE802.11 a/b/g combo, and ZigBee chips as a
leading RF designer and engineering manager. In Oct. 2005, he co-founded
Quintic Corporation and served as the first President and interim CEO until
Dec. 2006. He is holding a certificate on Management of Technology from
the Haas Business School of U.C. Berkeley. |
