Dado Banatao | Managing
Partner, Founder, Tallwood Ventures
With his past experiences as an entrepreneur, Dado provides
Quintic with a unique perspective. As an engineer, he is credited with
developing several key semiconductor technologies and is regarded as a
Silicon Valley visionary. As our lead investor, he has a keen sense of
trends and opportunities involving technology solutions for computing
and communications. Prior to forming Tallwood, Dado was a venture partner
at the Mayfield Fund. He co-founded three technology startups: S3 (SBLU),
Chips & Technologies (INTC) and Mostron. He also held positions at
National Semiconductor, Seeq Technologies, Intersil and Commodore International.
In 1997, he was honored with the prestigious Master Entrepreneur of the
Year Award sponsored by Ernst & Young, Inc. magazine and Merrill Lynch
Business Financial Services. In addition to Quintic, Dado also serves
as Chairman of SiRF Technology (SIRF), InPhi Corporation, Peleton and
Sequoia Communications and is on the boards of directors of Alphion Corporation,
Redfern Integrated Optics, Teja Technologies Inc. and T-RAM Semiconductor.
He also served as Chairman and led investments in Marvell Technology Group
(MRVL); Acclaim Communications, acquired by Level One (INTC); Newport
Communications, acquired by Broadcom (BRCM); Cyras Systems, acquired by
Ciena (CIEN); and Stream Machine, acquired by Cirrus Logic (CRUS).Dado
holds a B.S.E.E., cum laude, from the Mapua Institute of Technology in
the Philippines and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. |

George Pavlov | General Partner, Tallwood Ventures
George Pavlov is a General Partner of Tallwood Venture Capital and has been working with the firm since its founding in 2000. In addition to serving as an operational advisor across all of Tallwood's business verticals, Mr. Pavlov is also responsible for initiating, structuring and managing investments for the firm. Mr. Pavlov joined Tallwood from eTime Capital where he served as the Chief Executive Officer. Prior to eTime Capital, he previously served as a General Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Mayfield Fund, a Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Blum Capital Partners, as well as several financial and sales management positions at NeXT Computer.
George Pavlov currently serves on the boards of directors of Alphion Corp., Amulaire Thermal Technology, Astute Networks, Audience, Calypto, Crossing Automation, Pixim, Quintic, and SVTC Technologies.
He holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from Boston College. |

C.K. Cheng is General Partner of Harbinger Venture, US
Operations. Since
1983, Mr. Cheng has served the MiTAC-SYNNEX Group in different capacities.
Prior to co-founding Harbinger, Mr. Cheng was the senior Vice President
of
Product Marketing and Manufacturing Operation at SYNNEX. His previous
investments include S3, VA Linux (NASDAQ: LNUX), Altigen (NASDAQ: ATGN),
and Synnex Corp. (NYSE: SNX).
Mr. Cheng received his MBA from Chiao-Tung University,
Taiwan, and B.S.

Dr. Chenming Hu | Founder
TSMC Distinguished Chair Professor of Microelectronics

Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences
Dr. Chenming Hu is the TSMC Distinguished Chair Professor
of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley. He joined
the Berkeley faculty in 1976. From 2001 to 2004, he was the Chief Technology
Officer of TSMC, world's largest dedicated integrated circuits manufacturing
company. He was the founding chairman of Celestry Design Technologies,
an IC design software company that was acquired by Cadence Design Systems
in 2003.
He is a member of the US National Academy of Engineering, a member of
Academia Sinica, a fellow of IEEE, a fellow of the Institute of Physics,
and an honorary professor of Chinese Academy of Science, Beijing, and
of Chiao Tung University, Taiwan. IEEE awarded him the 2002 Solid State
Circuits Award for developing BSIM--- international standard SPICE model
of MOSFETs, and the 1997 Jack A. Morton Award for his contributions to
transistor reliability. He is also noted for developing the FinFET transistor
structure that is promising for scaling the transistors to less than 10nm.
He has received UC Berkeley's highest honor for teaching—the Berkeley
Distinguished Teaching Award. He is the author or co-author of three books
and 800 research papers in the field of semiconductor technology.
Dr. Hu received his B.S. degree from the National Taiwan University and
M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, all in electrical
engineering.
